Privacy Policy

The following is a comprehensive summary of the Association's privacy policy and terms of use.

Encryption Technology

To make all of your information unreadable to a third party, we have implemented numerous security measures, including SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. You can verify that your transmissions are encrypted by looking in the lower left corner of Netscape 3.0 (gold key should be connected and background highlighted) or Netscape 4.0 / Internet Explorer (padlock should be in locked position, not open position).

The information we gather on our website is used to process your order efficiently and effectively, and to determine the products and services that will be of most value to you. Please read on for more details about our privacy policy.

For purchases, this may include your credit card information, which is strictly limited in use to processing your order. While providing this information online is secure (see Encryption Technology, above), doing so is voluntary, and you may choose to order by mail (see addresses listed above) or fax (289-296-4567) if you are still uncomfortable.

At PHPA.com we are aware that many children may want to visit us on the Internet. Although we welcome browsing, we encourage children to receive permission from their parents before submitting any personal information over the Internet. PHPA.com believes parents should be responsible for supervising the online activities of their children and taking into account various tools that allow them to provide their children with a controlled, child-friendly Internet. These tools are designed to preclude children from releasing personal information online without the permission of their parents.
