PHPA Announces Executive Committee for 2009-10

Game-worn jerseys from the Captain of each of the 21 ECHL teams are being auctioned online at www.meiGray.com, beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday June 17 and continuing until 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday July 1st, 2009.

A three-goal first period was more than enough as the Hershey Bears captured the American Hockey League’s 2009 Calder Cup championship with a 4-1 win over the Manitoba Moose at the MTS Centre on Friday night.

More attendance records are set to fall as the 2009 Calder Cup Finals head back to Winnipeg for Game 6 on Friday night and, if necessary, Game 7 on Sunday.

The ECHL announced on Tuesday that the Board of Governors has unanimously approved the Expansion Membership application of the Kalamazoo Wings for admission to the ECHL.
