PHPA Agent Program

It is our objective, through the PHPA Agent Program, to provide agents who represent professional hockey players with resources, information and advice that can be used to effectively represent PHPA Members.

We are now prepared to accept applications to the Program.  Please thoroughly review the Regulations Governing the PHPA Agent Program and the Agent Program Application below.

In order to apply for the Program you must:

  1. Execute the PHPA Agent Program Application and mail, fax, or e-mail it to the PHPA Hockey Operations Department with your annual fee.

  2. Satisfy one of the criteria below:
    • be actively Certified with the NHLPA; or
    • currently represent a professional player playing in the AHL, CHL, or ECHL (to be verifiedby player or with a duly executed player-agent representation agreement); or
    • have a duly executed player-agent representation agreement (please attach a copy to your application) with a current / former professional player, or an amateur player seeking a professional hockey contract.

Please Note:   The Agent Program is a subscription-based service.  Any agent who wishes to subscribe to the Program must apply in accordance with the application process set forth within Section 1. A of the Regulations.  While we encourage all agents to subscribe to the Program, there is no license, registration, or certification prerequisite to negotiate an AHL, CHL, or ECHL contract.

All applicants who are approved will receive:

  • individual profile listing on PHPA.com and the Players’ Only website

Please contact the PHPA Hockey Operations Department (289-296-5561) with any questions regarding the Program or the application process.

Allen forward Brian McMillin was named the 2013 Central Hockey League Playoff Most Valuable Player after leading all skaters with 12 goals in the playoffs and finishing second with 20 points

The ECHL announced the following schedule for the 2013 Kelly Cup Finals between the Reading Royals and the Stockton Thunder beginning Saturday, May 18th.

Texas vs Oklahoma City and Toronto vs Grand Rapids in the Western Conference, with Providence vs Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Syracuse vs Springfield in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Although the Marlies were swept in the Calder Cup final by the Norfolk Admirals last year, Nazem Kadri, Matt Frattin, along with defenseman Jake Gardiner, all gained valuable playoff experience. Now they are three players the Toronto Maple Leafs hope can help catapult them into the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
